'I am because we are and, since we are, therefore I am."

John Mbiti, the Kenyan theologian said: "I am because we are and, since we are, therefore I am."

I started this Blog because my generation has a lot of remembering to do, and this is the only way I know how to honor our ancestors and what they have done for us. We only exist, enjoy the privileges we do, reside where we do, because of the shoulders we stand on. What will we do with this knowledge? Be great I hope. Be proud I pray. Share with our children one day...

Ignorance, I fear, will lead us down a path of insecurity and, inevitably, doom.

I hope all descendants make their way here at some point, and leave their mark.
Do you have a story to share? If so pass it on...

xoxo
